Visuals are key
Attractively presented content reaches its readers faster and achieves more than a desolate wasteland of script. That was already clear to me in my first semester at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). As a freelance graphic designer specializing in editorial design and then as an agency art director, I was able to give full rein to my passion for design.
Ideas need appealing settings
I found exactly what I wanted at Porsche Consulting: greater responsibility and an acute appreciation for design. From the outset I was involved in all aspects of design, from presentational templates to the web to printed material. Our team developed a new corporate design—the company’s visual calling card.
Good work is valued
What differentiates this work from my previous positions is the solidarity in our team. We are there for each other, especially when things get tight. Then there is the good culture of feedback, which is unfailingly constructive and motivating. Of course, the best feedback is when you see how your work is received with enthusiasm and used by all of your colleagues.
