All new colleagues receive support from an experienced co-worker who serves as a mentor during their first six months at the company. This helps them build networks within Porsche Consulting. Mentors offer newcomers a comprehensive view of the company’s culture and organizational structure, and explain internal processes. Initial feedback is given at the “100-day review,” when mentor and mentee have dinner together and reflect on the preceding 100 days. The official period of mentorship comes to an end after six months. It usually forms the basis for long and friendly relations between the two employees.
