Porsche Consulting is gifting special Christmas boxes full of beautiful and useful things to children in Ukraine who have lost their families or homes. Tatjana Kiel, initiator of the charity organization #WeAreAllUkrainians and winner of the special prize of the German Entrepreneurship Award, told Porsche Consulting: “We came up with the idea that every child should have one present for themselves at a time of war when they have lost everything else”.

Together with a partner NGO in Ukraine, the organization #WeAreAllUkranians is building day centers in 12 hubs for 5400 orphans, who will then be able to find a place of refuge and care during the day. The children can play and learn there and receive psychological support when needed. “These children have had cruel experiences in recent months and have suffered dramatic losses and they don’t have stability. But even in times of war they need routines,” said Kiel.

The 900 Christmas boxes will be given to the children on January 6 and 7 (Christmas in Ukraine) and will contain a children's backpack, a warm hat or scarf, a small blanket, toys, and a few nice things such as children's make-up, stress toys, creative sets, a small juice box and cookies. The partner NGO in Ukraine will buy the products locally to avoid costly logistics and in order to boost the Ukrainian economy. They will then pack them and take care of the distribution to children in various regions of Ukraine.
