The aviation industry is booming, but rapid growth also brings challenges. "Securing supply chains is the most pressing issue that we are facing in the entire industry," explains Luis Carlos Marinho da Silva, Executive Vice President of Operations at Embraer.
The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer relies on close collaboration with its partners within the supply chains. "We work very well together and find alternatives to cope with our growth," says Marinho. To consistently offer value to customers, Embraer also places great emphasis on efficiency and innovation in all areas. The collaboration with Porsche Consulting plays a crucial role in this regard. "We started optimizing logistics processes and implemented a production leveling project last year. As a result, we have improved many of our internal processes," reports Marinho.
