The German high-tech startup Neura Robotics has secured one of the largest funding rounds ever completed by a German startup: $1.4 billion from international investors including Nvidia, Qualcomm, Amazon, Bosch, and Schaeffler. This is a strong signal for Germany as an innovation hub.

Porsche Consulting is proud to have supported Neura Robotics and its founder and CEO, David Reger, for years in the industrialization of its groundbreaking technology. Together, the management consultancy and Neura Robotics will continue working to bring industrial robotics applications to a wide range of industries. Humanoid robotics represents a tremendous opportunity for Germany and Europe to better utilize existing industrial infrastructure, reduce cost disadvantages, and help address demographic challenges.

Porsche Consulting is convinced that this strong vote of confidence from investors in the capabilities of German engineers and entrepreneurs will give a significant boost to the industrial application of AI. “Neura Robotics and David Reger demonstrate that Europe has the potential to lead globally in humanoid robotics – provided we consistently and rapidly translate technological excellence into industrial applications,” says Markus Uellendahl, Senior Partner at Porsche Consulting.
